Magitar: An Adventurous Introduction to Guitar Technique (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781539180111)

Magitar is the first ever guitar technique book to incorporate a role-playing style point system. As you gain more points in Magitar, you gain real life guitar ability. This book follows Sam, the young guitarist, on a quirky adventure with a wizard who is embarrassed of his name. On the way to find the golden string, Sam discovers twenty amazing exercises to help him play his adversary off of the stage. Magitar builds off of the idea that guitar technique is made up of a limited number of motions, with an unlimited number of applications. Twenty exercises are enough to develop amazing technique, granted you practice them with enough variation. Magitar's point system provides that variation, as well as a way to objectively measure your ability so you can put yourself on a path of perpetual advancement. Most books present hundreds of exercises, thinking that more is better. Magitar seeks to focus the guitarist's efforts for technical progression, putting in place the best warm up session money can buy. Videos and printable materials are available for free to those that purchase this book. Try Magitar out today, and begin your journey to technical mastery!
