xJethro Compton is Producer and Co-Artistic Director of Belt Up Theatre, with whom he has produced dozens of projects over the past five years including adaptations of Tartuffe, Kafka's The Trial & Metamorphosis, Antigone and his own play, Quasimodo, which he also directed. His production company, Jethro Compton Ltd, has produced numerous shows across the UK including, with SJC Productions, Belt Up Theatre's Macbeth in the House of Detention in London in 2011 and 2012. Other independent productions include The Boy James in London in January, and its transfer, alongside Outland, to the Adelaide Fringe Festival with Theatre Tours International. In 2012 he produced and adapted a production of Victor Hugo's Hunchback of Notre Dame in Selby Abbey with funding from Arts Council England.
