The author was born in Portland Oregon, received his doctorate in Experimental Psychology at DePaul University in Chicago and recently retired as an associate professor at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. He has been successful making the transition from educator-researcher to published poet, in South Central Texas. His poetry has appeared in the journals Voices de la Luna, The Blue Hole, Spillwords, the anthologies Boundless and Quirk and the San Antonio Express-News.
