The Author: Ian Wojcik-Andrews is an associate professor of Literature in the Department of English at Eastern Michigan University. Now a permanent resident of the United States, he received a B.A. from Essex University, a PGCE from Manchester University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. He has presented papers and chaired sessions at international and national conferences. Dr. Wojcik-Andrews has published widely in children's literature journals.
