Marge's Yiddish: As Recalled by Chiamschmerril (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798325076183)

My mom Marge, was truly a force of nature! She lacked (or chose to ignore) that filter between thoughts and words.

For better of worse, you always knew where you stood with Marge.

And...it seemed she had a Yiddish word or phrase for just about everything. I always got a kick out of these because whatever they were describing, it was always exactly right.

These words also tickled my ear (and still do)! I find a lot of them to be onomatopoeiac (is that even a word?) and I love the expressions on people's faces when I use one.
