Maths Problem Solving for High Achieving Students - Book 2: Second Edition - Number (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781776556694)

Maths Problem Solving for Higher Achieving Students - Number provides introductory lesson tasks and offers enrichment and extension activities for higher achieving upper primary and lower secondary students to work above and beyond the normal mathematics curriculum and develop their higher-order thinking skills. Each book contains three sections: the first takes a scaffolded approach with three levels of instruction; the second encourages students to think broadly to solve open-ended problems, recognising that any such problem has more than one possible answer; and the third presents general word problems to build on and reinforce the link between literacy and problem solving. Detailed solutions are included.
