Esther Luttrell was born in Daytona Beach, Florida and attended numerous schools. Participation in a PhD grant at a major university as filmmaker led to a long career writing, producing and direction films. Her background includes CBS and MGM studios. Her screenplay, for the film, Te Ata (2016), has won Best Screenplay, Best Picture and Audience Favorite awards at film festivals around the country.
