Paula Tully was born in Dublin, Ireland. In 2016 she returned home from Brighton, UK, where she lived for six years. While writing Irish short stories, she also worked as an English language and literature teacher in an international college on England's south coast. She has an MA in American Literature and a BA in English and Art History, both from University College Dublin. Having lived and worked in the UK a number of times, Paula and her husband, Peter, are now settling back to life in Dublin. Meeting Countess Markievicz and Other Irish Short Stories is her first collection of short stories. Her next writing project is a novella called This Dread Love (working title) which she hopes to publish some time soon.
