William Oliver Paulsell is the President Emeritus of Lexington Theological Seminary in Lexington, Kentucky. After seminary and graduate school at Vanderbilt University, he began his career as Professor of Religious Studies at Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina in 1962. In 1981 he became Dean of the Seminary, and, later, in 1987, President. He is an ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and served as senior minister of North Christian Church in Columbus, Indiana.
