Sam Bateson was born in 1997 in the small town of Kendal, England. He attended Kirkbie Kendal School, where he studied Media at A Level for two years, among other subjects. Cousin of 'Wild Beast's' drummer, Christopher Talbot, he has always had a creative flair, and other than writing books, he is part of a small band himself, named 'Liquid State' with four other schoolmates. An avid writer, he has written books since he was young, but he first published a novel, Midnight, on January 21st, 2016. He very quickly followed this up with a sequel, After Dark, which was released on May 6th, 2016. He has plans for an expanded bibliography of books, and since his first release, his desire to write and publish novels has become a reality, one which he hopes will continue into the future.
