The Milwaukee Writer's Circle was established on May 21, 2010 by our founder and president Heddy Keith on meetup. By October 2011, we were incorporated as a Wisconsin non-profit. In 2013, we published our first Anthology: The Best of Milwaukee Writer's Circle. As a group of dedicated writers, we honor and appreciate diversity! The three circles in our logo illustrate our diversity, unity, and connectedness. A circle has no beginning or end; it is a symbol of our continuous support for writers. As a symbol of democracy, it is the preferred shape for an organization of equals. Writers are nurtured at all levels, from beginners to advanced. Members give of their time and talent to share their knowledge and experience.
