But when they decide to get help to tackle these demons, they discover that monsters do exist and they're a lot closer to home than anyone could have ever imagined.Minds of Madness is about what happens during the ugly struggle for mothers with postpartum mood disorders to get help and be well, the failures of the medical and community infrastructure in place to help women and families, and what happens when those institutions go unchecked, diagnoses are misunderstood and the lives of women and mothers are taken for granted. *TRIGGER WARNING: This book may be difficult for those who have suffered with postpartum mood disorders, suicidal thoughts or ideation, please read with discretion.
