Missions Minded Managing Anxiety While Serving Devotional (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798999759610)

Ministry service can be deeply meaningful, yet it can also be emotionally, mentally, and spiritually demanding and overwhelming. Many who faithfully serve quietly struggle with burdens of anxiety, stress, depression, emotional overwhelm, burnout, addictions, disappointment, and doubt.

Missions Minded Managing Anxiety While Serving series (book, workbook, and devotional) provides a structured opportunity for prayerful reflection, increased self-awareness, and deeper insight into factors that contribute to anxiety and influence emotional overwhelm while serving in ministry. Additionally, this series promotes opportunity to develop greater awareness of triggers, patterns and behavioral responses that contribute to anxiety. As the triggers and patterns become more recognizable, readers are provided opportunities to develop biblically grounded responses, strengthen healthy adaptive coping, build emotional resilience, and develop spiritual maturity.

Missions Minded Managing Anxiety While Serving Devotional consists of three sections: Scripture Reflection, Personal Ministry Reflection, and Ministry Assignment Reflection. Scripture Reflection provides an opportunity for prayerfully reading, studying, and reflection on Scripture. Ask Holy Spirit to reveal to you and deepen your understanding of His Word. Personal Ministry Reflection provides an opportunity for self-awareness and deeper insight into thoughts, decisions, and responses that contribute to anxiety and influence emotional overwhelm while serving in ministry, (past and present). Ministry Activity Reflection directs readers to evaluate and reflect upon particular ministry experiences and patterns across ministry service.

Designed for individual use as well as small groups.
