Sheila Huntington was born and raised in Huntington, West Virginia-hence her use of Huntington as her "pen" name. Her first marriage resulted in two sons and a daughter. She is very proud of them and their spouses and her grandchildren. She and her second husband live in Charlotte near their blended families. Avid fishermen, both she and her husband love North Carolina's beaches. They also enjoy visiting with family and friends, and doing volunteer work with various organizations. Sheila has had a life-long affair with books and writing. She loves to write about strong women and show how they overcome obstacles in their paths. She tries to stick to-not always successfully-a schedule of writing twelve to fifteen hours a week. Her next novel will be out mid-to-late 2017. Following that, she plans to finish working on a long-time project, a nine-book series of children's books. "I love writing. I love letting the ideas just pop into my head and turn into stories. Writing is like an itch that you simply have to scratch! That's what makes it so interesting to be an author!"
