Mortimer Learns to Swim (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798199724159)

Mortimer is a fluffy black Newfoundland puppy who loves adventures and can't wait for his first trip to the lake. Excited to splash and play, he rushes into the water before his mom can put on his life vest. But when a group of older puppies accidentally knock him underwater, Mortimer gets scared and begins to wonder if he'll ever be able to swim.

Feeling disappointed and unsure of himself, Mortimer worries that he isn't a very good water dog. With patience, encouragement, and lots of love, his mom helps him practice in a quiet pond where he can build confidence at his own pace. As Mortimer learns that it's okay to be afraid and that courage comes from trying again, he discovers that he can do hard things after all.

A heartwarming story about perseverance, confidence, and overcoming fears, Mortimer Learns to Swim teaches young readers that everyone learns at their own pace and that being brave means giving yourself another chance. Perfect for children ages 3-7 and dog lovers of all ages.
