John Vincent Palozzi was born in Rochester, New York in 1948. A graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, with a B.A. in Psychology, he moved to Lake Worth, FL., in 1972 where he still lives. He has been writing poetry since 13 years old, was the President of Poets of the Palm Beaches from 1989 to 2006, and currently serves as Vice President. He has conducted readings, workshops and creative poetry writing classes from 1990 to the present. He has won various prizes and has been printed in various anthologies. He has published several books, which can be found on the internet. Mr. Palozzi has enjoyed taking photographs and doing collage art for more than forty years. He is a founding member of Artists of Palm Beach County, and currently serve as the manager of their Art on Park Gallery in Lake Park, Florida. His work has hung in the Palm Beach International Airport, the Boynton Beach City Library, the Armory Art Center, the Lighthouse ArtCenter, and many other places throughout Palm Beach County. He is always looking for something different or unusual to express artistically, and likes juxtaposing unrelated images together to create a fresh idea.
