Moving in the Prophetic: Order in the Church (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798871575260)

In the book "MOVING IN THE PROPHETIC: ORDER IN THE CHURCH," author Michael Bacon emphasizes the critical importance of providing clear instruction to the church community regarding the appropriate and inappropriate methods of engaging in prophecy and how to maintain order in the church.

The book underscores the necessity of discerning when to exercise restraint and when to offer correction within the context of prophecy. It highlights the potential pitfalls that can arise when individuals engage in prophetic activities without proper guidance and accountability. These pitfalls include the delivery of inaccurate prophecies, the presence of impure motives, the nurturing of critical attitudes, and the introduction of negative spiritual influences into the church.

Rather than suppressing the prophetic gift within the church, Michael advocates for creating a safe and nurturing environment that allows the presence of God to flourish while maintaining order. The primary objective is to foster an atmosphere where genuine prophetic insights can be shared responsibly and where individuals can grow spiritually without compromising the overall unity and well-being of the congregation.

"Moving in the Prophetic: Order in the Church" serves as a valuable resource for church leaders, members, and those interested in understanding how to navigate the prophetic within a church setting. It offers practical wisdom and protocols to ensure that the prophetic gift is a source of spiritual enrichment rather than disruption, ultimately promoting a deeper connection with the divine among the church community.
