Dr Khaled Fazel is head of the Radio System Design Department, R&D at Ericsson GmbH, Germany. He has over 20 years of experience in the field and is a regular contributor to journals and conferences. Dr Stefan Kaiser is the head of the Wireless Solution Lab at DoCoMo Communications Laboratories Europe GmbH, Germany. He is a member of the editorial board of the EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking and of the International Journal on Wireless & Optical Communications. He is also guest editor of several special issues on Multi-Carrier Spread Spectrum of the European Transactions on Telecommunications (ETT) and on Reconfigurable Radio of the EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking.
