My car inches up like a tired, old snail
My thoughts begin to wander
Hoping my engine won't fail Just another day
Musing along the Ike She recently has been inducted into the International Library of Poetry for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry. She was a semi-finalist in the 2007 Creative Communication Adult Poetry Contest. Nancy Sack has had had several of her poems and prose published in national anthologies and literary magazines throughout her years of teaching. Currently, she is published in the National Council of Teachers of English Gallery of Writing and in the online magazine www.thefabulouswoman.com. Nancy lives in Elmhurst, Illinois, with her two teenage children. Her genuine writing is a wonderful compilation of poetry and prose filled with the inconsistencies and the beauties of life.
