Momoh Sekou Dudu comes from the village of Gordorlahun in north-western Liberia. He is the author of the memoir, Harrowing December: Recounting a Journey of Sorrows and Triumphs (2014); When the Mind Soars: Poems from the Heart (2016), and the forthcoming novel, Forgotten Legacy (2017). He lives in the Minneapolis, Minnesota suburb of Otsego with his wife Mamasu and their two young children: Sekou and Makessa.
