My Conversation with the Devil (Hardcover) (ISBN-13: 9781918529982)

In the shadowed valleys of rural Italy, young Father Granelli grows up haunted by an unshakable certainty: one day he will speak directly with the Devil himself.

From childhood visions of conversing with God (whom he once pictured as Bugs Bunny) to terrifying nightmares of roaring lions, scarlet beasts, and the hill of Megiddo, Granelli's life is marked by an intense, almost obsessive relationship with the divine-and the infernal. As he matures, his dreams grow darker: apocalyptic battles, possessed figures crawling across ceilings, and a grotesque woman locked in a psychiatric ward who claims virgin pregnancy while spewing blasphemies in voices not her own.

Drawn into the hidden world of the Church's most secretive battles, Granelli witnesses and eventually participates in a harrowing exorcism. A tormented woman, invaded after a desperate Ouija board session, becomes the vessel for Satan himself. Through her, the Devil speaks-mocking faith, recounting his ancient rebellion against Christ, tempting with false voices of dead loved ones, and revealing unsettling prophecies of his coming return.

What begins as spiritual curiosity spirals into a nightmarish confrontation. Priests burn alive, beds spin in flame, serpents slither from shadows, and the line between possession, madness, and genuine evil blurs. Granelli must summon every ounce of faith to complete the ritual, protect an innocent unborn child, and banish the ancient adversary-knowing the encounter may leave permanent scars on his soul.

Blending visceral horror with profound theological questions, My Conversation with the Devil explores the terrifying necessity of believing in both God and His greatest enemy. For readers who dare to look into the abyss, this is a chilling tale of spiritual warfare, deception, sacrifice, and the eternal struggle between light and darkness.

A gripping, unflinching horror novel from Andrew Brookman, author of boundary-pushing works across genres. Not for the faint-hearted.
