Nettie Mae Sherrod (Hedgecock) was born May 11, 1936 in Lawnville, Tennessee. She was a emergency room nurse for more than 30 years at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. She married G. Fred Sherrod July 7, 1955, has three children and four wonderful grandchildren. This book is written for our family and the community as requested by several people. They have heard stories about the Hedgecock's and relatives and how Lawnville used to be and wanted to know more.
