My First Poems are from life's experiences, with a bit of imagination thrown in.

This is a collection that travels the full arc of a human life - from the innocent hope of new beginnings, through the joy of falling in love, the wonder of nature, the frustrations of the world we live in, the bittersweet rewards of growing old, and finally into grief, loss, and the quiet mystery of what lies beyond.

Honest, unguarded, and deeply felt, these poems ask the questions most of us carry but rarely say aloud. What do we leave behind? What was it all for? And is hope enough to carry us through?

Written without pretension and straight from the heart, My First Poems is a book for anyone who has loved, lost, laughed, and wondered.

"For without true love, all is lost."
"For hope is all that's left at end of day."
