Neo Poimandres (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798242357761)

NEO POIMANDRES is a contemporary philosophical rewriting of one of the most influential texts of Western thought: Poimandres, the foundational treatise of the Corpus Hermeticum. More than an ancient document, Poimandres is a direct exposition of the relationship between consciousness, reality, and knowledge-a teaching that remains profoundly relevant in the modern world.

Rather than offering a literal translation or an academic commentary, this book restores the original function of the Hermetic text: to guide the reader from ordinary perception toward self-knowledge and intellectual clarity. Written in clear, modern, and accessible language, NEO POIMANDRES preserves the conceptual fidelity of the original while removing the barriers created by archaic terminology, excessive literalism, and fragmented interpretations.

At its core, Hermetic philosophy is not a system of beliefs, rituals, or mystical practices. It is a philosophy of understanding. It proposes that the human mind participates in the same intelligible principle that structures reality itself. Knowledge, in this context, is not the accumulation of information, but the recognition of an inner affinity between mind (Nous), reason (Logos), and the order of the cosmos.

This book carefully distinguishes philosophical Hermeticism from modern occultism. It promises no magical powers, secret techniques, or symbolic initiations. Instead, it offers discernment. It does not ask for belief, spiritual affiliation, or adherence to dogma. It invites reflection. Its proposal is both simple and demanding:
to know oneself,
to distinguish what is transient from what is essential,
and to understand the world as an intelligible order rather than a meaningless accident.

NEO POIMANDRES speaks directly to readers interested in Hermetic philosophy, metaphysics, consciousness studies, classical wisdom, Gnosis, and the philosophy of mind. It is addressed equally to philosophers, seekers, scholars, and thoughtful readers who wish to understand-not to follow doctrines, but to clarify their own relationship with knowledge and existence.

This is not a religious book.
It is not an academic treatise.
It is not an esoteric manual.

It is a work of philosophical clarity, written for those who sense that true understanding is not acquired, but remembered.
