Jennie Wood is a non-binary author, musician, and animal rescue volunteer. Their 2023 graphic novel Paper Planes earned a Next Generation Indie Book Award and an IPPY Bronze Medal. Earlier, their YA novel A Boy Like Me was named one of Foreword Reviews' 10 Best Indie YA novels (2014) and was an INDIEFAB and Next Generation Indie Book Awards finalist. Studios' Lumberjanes, several German TV and movie illustration and animation gigs, and their own wrestling fan-comic.
