News And Views: News For The "IN" Crowd (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798295683169)

News and Views, News for the 'In' Crowd Is a hilarious, sharp witted deep dive into the absurd realities of life inside the great Oklahoma State Reformatory.

Written by Jason Bales, this book is a collection of the best and most ridiculous stories from the prison's infamous newsletter.

From the politics of prison toasters and the underground ramen economy to the battle over toilet paper supremacy and the legend of the no nonsense nurse known as "The Blue Lagoon," this book unveils the strange, comical, and sometimes profound moments of incarceration.

Bales, the fast talking, flip flop wearing editor in chief, delivers a mix of investigative journalism, stand up comedy, and prison yard philosophy.

Beneath the laughs, the book captures the resilience, camaraderie, and creativity that thrive in even the most unexpected places.
