After Being sentenced to 35 years for my part in a murder many questions would come up in my mind about what led me to commit the crimes I did, choose the life I once lived. While serving over 20 years and counting driven by the need to be redeemed, I worked to dig at the root of all my personal failures in order to learn from them and grow into a morally competent human being. How does one come to terms with that and work towards reform? What are the necessary components material, spiritual, emotional, and moral for such a transformation to be possible?
