Not Quite Quiet

A Story About Quiet Strength and Finding Your Voice

Jasmine is quiet, and she likes it that way.

Jasmine fills her notebook with bold stories and amazing adventures.

But when the school talent show is announced, can Jasmine find a way to participate that feels true to who she is?

With some help from her grandma and the courage to stay true to herself, Jasmine learns that her voice matters-even if it's not the loudest one in the room.

Not Quite Quiet is a gentle, heartwarming story that celebrates introverted children, creativity, and quiet courage. It is especially meaningful for children who are reflective, reserved, or hesitant to speak up in group settings.

It supports classroom conversations about Social Emotional Learning (SEL), self-esteem, individuality, and finding your voice, making it a helpful read for teachers, school counselors, and parents alike.

A reminder for children and adults alike: being quiet is not something to fix-quiet is a strength.

Educators, parents, and counselors looking for meaningful stories that support quiet and introverted children will find Not Quite Quiet a heartfelt story to share at home or in the classroom.
