Lynn Murrell appears on the surface to be a rather dishevelled person, who likes animals and people more than she likes housework. She is well-known for her love of tea - "builders' brew, just a splosh of milk, please" and her propensity for napping. Well hidden beneath the indolent facade is a mind constantly in overdrive, a fertile imagination and an affection for the offbeat, the strange and the, frankly, ridiculous. Inspired by the likes of Edward Lear, she started writing at an early age. She has been commissioned to write many poems, sketches, pantomimes and articles over the years.
