Gary Hassenstab has been in a variety of leadership roles within technology organizations for over 30 years. He has led organizations ranging from 10 to 100 technical professionals in the banking, global IT services, engineering, pharmaceutical automation, and freight logistics industries. In order to learn more about leadership and effective management, Gary took a timeout from formal leadership roles and spent 5 years in leadership development as a facilitator of leadership and management courses. In addition, Gary's role was also to analyze the results of a values and competency-based assessment tool and conduct coaching sessions with the participants. He conducted over 400 individual assessment and coaching sessions and numerous coaching sessions with intact leadership teams. Gary was also selected to be a leadership analyst and coach for the EDS Executive Development program. His role was identify the experience and skill gaps for the participants and prepare targeted coaching and feedback to accelerate their readiness to take on senior leadership roles.
