Ollie the Ox was written to remind us of the Greatest Story Ever Told. My grandchildren and I read it together and then sat at the kitchen table to create the illustrations. We laughed over the dancing mice, sighed over Mary's hand tickling Ollie's ear, struggled over the scenery, and went crazy adding additional characters. We learned to enjoy one another's talents and now we have a book to share for always.
