On His Rules (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781836634904)

Everyone knows and respects David Blackwood. He's a man whose rules govern every aspect of his life, a master of control whose piercing gaze can destroy and whose single word can save from suffering. Known as the god of Shibari, he wields the art of rope not to inflict pain, but to provide unspeakable satisfaction.

But when it comes to matters of the heart, David finds himself tangled in the biggest trouble of his life: love.

Emily Bonner hates her guardian. After her parents' death, she has no choice but to play nice and convince Blackwood of her capability to be responsible for the money her parents left. She resents the very man tasked with her care, calling him an old pervert as she navigates her newfound independence. Yet, beneath her defiance lies a struggle she cannot escape: her body betrays her as she finds herself devouring him with her eyes and calling his name in vivid dreams.

As David grapples with his growing feelings for the fiercely independent Emily, he must confront the line between protector and lover. Can he maintain the control he's always had, or will the bonds of desire prove too strong to resist?

In this story of forbidden love, loyalty, and self-discovery, David and Emily must confront their deepest fears and desires as they navigate a dangerous path toward a love that could either bind them together or tear them apart.
