Therefore my ability to choose joy, and be lighthearted comes easily. Great inner peace in nature is found every day. It is fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth, Cape Cod. Much of my free time is spent at home and tending to plants and flowers. Art has always been a passion of mine, creating something out of nothing, and painting is exciting. For me, having the access to freedom of spirit is crucial. To feel that spirit, I will often stand under a star filled sky, look out upon a raging ocean, and feel the air wash over my body. Hearing the chorus of the creatures, or simply smelling the sweetness of a nearby flower has equal value for any of us. To spend a day completely content only reminds us of all our many blessings. It's as if the universe has only love and goodness to be shared, at any time, we choose to receive. In my story, On the Rosy Path, I wish to take a more in-depth look at life, the way it is experienced by me. You might think that I walk around with rose colored glasses on. Well, you're right, I do, but I am also aware that not everyone else does. It can be treacherous out there, and we need to know how to maneuver through life's perils and hazards. Perhaps we could simply start handing out a pair of rose colored glasses to everyone we meet. While relating my recipe for maintaining a happy life, I will share with you how I stay in balance, be cautious, be observant, have awareness of my surroundings and discern situations based on my experience. As a risk taker, and a person that has jumped in with both feet, my motto is like Nike - "Just Do It!"
