Once Upon a Breakfast (Hardcover) (ISBN-13: 9798951357519)

What happens when someone who seems different becomes a friend?

Welcome to Planet Plate, a fun filled world where breakfast foods come to life!

Pancake, Butter, and Syrup are three best friends who spend their days playing, laughing, and enjoying adventures together. But when two new characters, Bacon and Eggs, arrive on Planet Plate, Butter isn't sure he wants to get to know them.

They look different.

They seem different.

And Butter is quick to make assumptions.

But Syrup has a different idea. Instead of staying apart, she reaches out and gets to know the newcomers. As the friends spend more time together, they begin to discover something important: people may look different on the outside, but they can have much more in common than they realize.

Then an unexpected adventure begins when Fork carries the friends through the mysterious "Giant Hole in the Sky."

What follows is a fun-filled journey featuring new friends, exciting adventures, laughter, and an important lesson about kindness, friendship, acceptance, and belonging.

Along the way, Butter learns to recognize his own mistakes and discovers that getting to know someone can completely change the way you see them.

With imaginative food characters, playful humor, colorful adventures, and a heartwarming message, Once Upon a Breakfast is a children's picture book that encourages young readers to:

• Look beyond appearances
• Welcome people who may seem different
• Practice kindness and compassion
• Admit when they have made a mistake
• Build friendships through understanding
• Celebrate the things we have in common

Sometimes the best friendships begin when we take the time to get to know someone.

Join Pancake, Butter, Syrup, Bacon, Eggs, and their new friends for a deliciously imaginative adventure where breakfast becomes a lesson in friendship and everyone discovers that there is room for one more at the table.
