Alexander Kovarovic is eighteen years old and was born and raised in Gloversville, New York. Ever since he was a child he has loved music and is currently the lead trumpet player in multiple bands. But more importantly, Alex has a strong willingness to help others. He is currently training to become a firefighter and an EMT. He is also a crisis and suicide prevention counselor. Alex wants everyone to be able to say that they like who they are. He wants teenagers to be able to have self love and he wants them to feel proud of themselves. Alex's main goal in life is to make teens aware of suicide and depression so they can become better educated on it. If we are more educated, we can help other teens through troubling times. Alex started writing a lot in his junior year. He had an amazing high school english teacher who taught him how to write, expressively. Alex began writing daily journals and short stories. "One Life" is his first true inspirational story.
