She started the organization after spending months in the hospital with her son Demarion, seeing families devastated by illness. A former television reporter and producer, she has been in the broadcasting industry for more than 15 years. She has worked as a reporter and producer for both ABC and CBS affiliates. She is a published contributing author in The Motherhood Diaries and The Motherhood Diaries 2. Currently, she works as a television director. Edna's favorite saying is "Faith the size of a mustard seed has the potential of endless possibilities." She began sharing her testimony of faith, the power of prayer and forgiveness while dealing with all of the things life brought her way after Demarion's accident.
