This is a book about chess openings that is unlike any other book in the world, and with the help of thousands of ours of computer analysis, we believe we have found the moves with the fewest losses for black. Once you have committed it to memory, if your opponent makes a move that is not the best response, then you can take comfort in knowing that he or she did not respond with the best move possible. Third, this book reprints with permission an article "Computer Analysis of the Relative Value of Pieces" from the ICGA Journal (formerly International Computer Chess Association ICCA). This article gives the results from computer analysis of thousands of master level games for the value of 14 different combinations of pieces on the board. For example, two rooks face a rook and two minor pieces. Or when a queen is stronger than two rooks. Our opening system also documents dozens of games from master level chess, showing what has happened in human games when one of the players deviated from the best response chart. To have a superior advantage over your opponent, play each game in this book to the limit and try to anticipate black's moves.
