He is certified as an emergency and critical care doctor and has authored over 60-peer reviewed articles on wound healing, translational research, the immunology of healing, surgical innovation, hyperspectral imaging, and artificial intelligence. He is affiliated with the Division of Experimental Surgery of McGill University and the Faculty of Sciences of Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He currently works as a consultant for several healthcare companies on technology development, validation, and clinical research.
