Col. Crafoord is a retired military officer from the Swedish Army. He comes from a long line of soldiers who originally came to Sweden from Scotland to fight in the European wars of the 17th and 18th centuries. Resident Governor of Gripsholm (Historic) Royal Castle 1983-1991. Married Karin 1951. She died in 2004. Children: a daughter Christina, a son Göran, and a foster daughter Susanne.
