Overflow: Tales of Butch-Femme Love, Sex, and Desire (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781300583448)

Overflow is equal parts sweet romance and a kinky, smut-filled good time. Between its covers you will find eleven stories delving into the world of butch-femme love, sex, and power dynamics. These stories are raw and vulnerable, exploring the tenderness and brutality of BDSM sex, as well as the emotional healing possible. Sacchi Green says: "Miel Rose writes with passion and intensity from deep within the world of femmes and butches. Her fiction blends strength with vulnerability, raw sex with sensitivity, and pain with joy, depicted with both earthy realism and strikingly original lyricism. My personal favorite, perhaps because it was included in my anthology Lesbian Lust, is "August Crazies," where Miel depicts the bdsm world of power exchange in scorching detail, at the same time illuminating the underlying complexities and desires with tenderness. Each of these pieces offers fully-realized characters, evocative settings, and down-and-deliriously-dirty sex, and all of them stir both flesh and spirit."
