He is an English-German translator and a winner of the John Dryden Translation Prize, awarded jointly by the British Center for Literary Translation and British Comparative Literature Association. Robyn Marsack is the director of the Scottish Poetry Library and the coeditor of the anthology Twenty Contemporary New Zealand Poets.
