Williamsburg, VA: 2004: One last chance for each of them... That's what Braden Lloyd feels is fair for Johnny Salvay in Olympia and Jerome Jacoby Jarreau in Newport News, alongside either of whom he is willing to wipe the slate clean and move on with his life. Which will it be, Plan A or Plan B? As usual, life has other plans in store.Reconnect with old friends and places and meet some faces from Braden's past who pop back into his life at the strangest of times. Will Braden learn anything valuable when he meets someone who reminds him of a future version of himself? Fight along with him as he battles a monstrous new manager at The Bank and an accusation that could cost him everything.Come on another ride with Braden for a quick trip back to Olympia as he is forced to confront the reality that no amount of goodwill on his part will ever undo the havoc he has wrought on so many others. Does he himself even deserve any second chances?Who will be there for him at his weakest moment? His loyal friend Jesse, new online pal Manny, or high school buddy Max who has a secret or two of his own. Finally, learn what really happened that night in 2003 outside Destiny when Ryan Carroll had his say with Braden once and for all.. It's all in here...While "Paid Up" is far from erotica, it is recommended for adult audiences since it contains realistic depictions of consensual sexual relations and frank language. Readers who have previously enjoyed "The Burning," "False Start," and "Jake's Fault" will appreciate this novel on a deeper level, although it will work as a standalone piece
