Panteria Chronicles: Carnage (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781548921330)

The Crystalians may have crossed the line... After the Executioners engaged in a questionable war with a major illicit drug manufacturer, the Panterian Guard and the rest of its surreptitious network have had to deal with the aftermath. Subsequently, the Guard, not particularly fond of dealing with matters that could have exposed them, has contracted "Infiltration" to handle this new threat of stigs. The very organization that the Executioners have vowed to destroy...Meanwhile, Jim decides to take on a more active role in finding Rebecca, and the rest of his friends-his new family-have begun to understand the consequences of justice and revenge... When push comes to shove, the Crystalians have sworn to sacrifice their lives for the sake of Truth. But, when they discover that the true enemy is greater and deadlier than anyone could have imagined, they realize that debt might just come due.Panteria Chronicles: Carnage is the third and latest adventure of the Crystalians in the 31st Century....................................Author's NOTES: Please keep in mind that the first book in the series before this one, Panteria Chronicles: Fallen, is more of a character-introduction piece, and can even be considered a prequel .... Therefore, despite strong language and some violence, it does not have quite the level of beheadings as Damned and this book, Carnage......................................Publisher's Note: Thank you for the consideration ... We do apologize for the bawdy language--the author insists that it is necessary for both context and plot. We figure that he's just doing it because he uses F-bombs for punctuation in his daily life, and believes everyone, for some reason, speaks that way ... Okay, I'm being told that it isn't too offensive, and anyway, since we're an Indie-house, C'est la vie...Hmm, French ... well, that does bring up another topic: Being that this book is based in the future, not all of the characters in this book may actually speak English or an understandable dialect. However, although some of the dialogue is in ancient, future and/or alien languages, we decided that it would be easier for the reader if we provided the best English equivalent ... unless the story necessitated an ancient or foreign word here or there.Okay, well, you've been forewarned ... So, welcome to the World of Panteria...
