The city possesses a cohesion and oneness in its aesthetic that demands a higher level of effort while remaining playful and carefree. Paris doesn't take itself seriously but is also the most serious about how things should look and be. It's a rare city that uses bad weather to enhance its charm and romantic appeal. There's little argument over the fact that Paris is beautiful.
