One decapitated head. Nine angry rape victims. Forensic psychotherapist Florian Day learns that a member of his rape survivor's group is a murder suspect. The bodies pile up and Detective Sergeant Jackie McEleney wants answers. But the group is closing ranks. Tired of being ignored by the police, they want revenge and the leader of the group is showing them how. One by one, they learn what it means to be a true survivor. To take justice in their own hands. Together they form Absalom with the sole goal of tracking down their rapists. But to what end? Each are faced with the horror of deciding how far they are willing to go in order to seek justice. Day must choose between assisting the police or perverting the course of justice in order to protect the group. But choices are never easy. One wrong move and he risks losing everything. Day and Sergeant McEleney begin a cat and mouse game of whodunnit. Both soon discover that there's a fine line between right and wrong. Between victim and perpetrator. Between the hunted and the hunter. Only for Day, it was nearly too late.
