Richard N. Lennes has earned leadership recognition in education, government, business, and the church culture. Innovation, vision and entrepreneurship are distinctions in his pioneering of operational success. Lennes is no stranger to authoring publications. His thirty-six-year career in education as coach, teacher, and administrator offered many opportunities with his aptitude in journalism and creative written expression. His involvement in ministry and church governance provided even more options. Among his many accolades, Lennes was honored as a finalist as Minnesota Teacher of the Year, Who's Who in America, Community Distinguished Service Award, as well as having the honor of serving as President of a two-year college in Minnesota. He earned a reputation as a state and national leader in process improvement and its use of computer technology. He served as Executive Director of Community Development working with foreign companies to locate corporate headquarters in the United States. Later Lennes served as a consultant to businesses and non-profits. During his life journey he became acutely aware of his Christian role to serve God by serving others. As a member of God's family, he has been led to tell others about Jesus. As part of his missional goal, he created a charitable nonprofit corporation, As We Go Ministries, to be more effective in his ministry.
