Patches is the first children's book illustrated by NorViance Henry. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Henry has had a lifelong love for comics, games and pop culture alike. He began drawing as a child gaining talent inherited from his father. He is the co-founder of the new media imprint UrbanGod Ink and has worked on some of the imprint's first comics, including his creation Jellybean Dream. He dedicates his work in Patches to the memory of his mother, Louisa Henry. Mr. Henry lives in Decatur, Georgia, with his family.
