Mr. Stafford routinely invest more than 30 hours a month in mentoring activities, Mr. Stafford was recognized as the 2013 Mentor of the Year for the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. an international community service organization with more than 10,000 members and 110 chapters worldwide 2013 Mentor of the Year Mr. Stafford is also a healthcare advocate through, his national awareness campaign called "Black To Life" focusing attention on alarming crisis surrounding organs failure and the need for registered donors in the African American community. Cornelius Stafford is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Mr. Stafford's lovely wife of twenty-four years is Mrs. Patricia Stafford. They have one son, Cortlyn Jimmel Stafford.
