Scott J. Hafemann is the Mary F. Rockefeller Distinguished Professor of New Testament at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, having served for nine years as the Gerald F. Hawthorne Professor of New Testament and Greek, Wheaton College and Graduate School. He is the author of the NIV Application Commentary on 2 Corinthians; Suffering and Ministry in the Spirit in the Paternoster Biblical Monograph series; and a study of biblical theology, The God of Promise and the Life of Faith.
