Peace of Mind Flex Curriculum Grades 1 and 2 (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798999866202)

The Peace of Mind Flex Curriculum for Grades 1 and 2 is a series of 15 engaging, flexible lessons designed to help students manage emotions, build healthy relationships, and peacefully resolve conflicts. The curriculum is built on six foundational pillars: Mindfulness, Brain Science, Kindness and Compassion, Gratitude, Conflict Resolution, and Social Justice. American Sign Language (ASL) is incorporated as a tool for all children to learn, explore, and communicate their emotions. The curriculum also includes "Kindness Pals," a daily activity where students are paired up to get to know each other and practice acts of kindness. Lessons are structured to be trauma-sensitive and student-centered, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom community.

Written by Linda Ryden, this impactful set of lessons features original illustrations, storybooks, and videos made by Linda and her students. The curriculum includes links to adaptable lesson slides and videos.
